Monday another goal came true. My blog reached 1000 views. I started the blog only three months ago. People have visited my blog from all over the world. Every single continent is covered by my awesome readers . People have read my blog all the way from Australia, Romania, Canada, Philippines to Turkey, Nigeria, Cambodia and many more. Sounds too good to be true, right?
So why do I share this? Because I want people to acknowledge how great I am? Because I am more gifted or blessed than other people?
I am just like you.
An ordinary person with real life struggles. Definitely not anything close to perfect.
The only thing that might make me slightly different (maybe not better, but different from most people my age) is that I know God has given me gifts, like my writing, which are meant to be used, not for my own glory, but to help other people and point people towards the One who has blessed me with my abilities and it is the fact that I use these gifts that might make me different. Just as He has given me gifts and opportunities to use them, in the same way has He given you unique gifts that are meant to be used. Because when we step out of our comfort zones and begin to use our gifts and making our God-given dreams come true things will change and you will be able to make a difference where God has placed you. We become mighty tools in the Kingdom of God. You are created with the ability to make an impact. Why not use it? Not to bring ourselves glory, but to bring the One who has blessed us so much glory.
I am not special – alone I can do nothing. Alone I am a ‘no one’, but Jesus have made me a ‘some one’. I do not have special talents, but I am created by an God who has and loves to give us special talents. And my story and what I am doing and accomplishing is a testimony and a story about how mighty God am. And what an honor He wants to use someone like you and me to join this mission.
Success is not defined by a number of likes or views. It is defined by our obedience towards God. Are we willing to do what He calls us to do? Are we honoring Him with our talents?
2. Corinthians 12:9-10 says this so beautifully:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
And again thanks so much for the support. It literally means the world to me. Feel free to comment below what topics you would like to be covered here in the future.
