Was blessed to spend 2 full days of my Europe road trip in the capital knows as the City of Music – Vienna, Austria. Vienna’s history dates back to the first post-Christian century when the Romans established the military camp Vindobona. It is a capital I quickly fell in love with due its old age and many baroque-inspired buildings.
Travelling to Athens, Greece was such a cool experience I will remember for a long time. Especially since I am such a giant history nerd who loves to read about ancient cultures and the history of other countries. Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities with its recorded history spanning over 3400 years and is home to more than 3 million people today. A lot of the things in Western culture comes from this place. Things like our literacy and written communication, school system, welfare system, mathematics, philosophy, democracy and the list could go on.
Having just been to the lovely city of Amsterdam this week I wanted to show you a glimpse of what I did while I was in the city.
This summer I have been so fortunate to be able to travel all the way here from Denmark to the US for 4 weeks with my family. It has for sure been an amazing time and since me and my family are a really active family who like to spend their holiday doing a little different activities than most other people I thought it might be interesting and even helpful in thoughts of upcoming vacations to share some of the awesome things we did here on my little space on the internet I have come to cherish so much since I started last year.
A month ago I had the joy of travelling to London with one of my dearest friends. I have been wanting since I came home to share my favorite places in London with ya’ll here on the blog.
