Tips on taking the perfect picture and more by photographer and storyteller Mara Grace Cortez

Seing God’s creation that was captured in these pictures on this account changed my perspective. Why? Because until then I had never in my wildest imagination thought that such beautiful places existed on this earth. These pictures reminded me of how much God loves us. He loves us too much to just keep His perfect creations in Heaven. He wants us, undeserving sinners, to enjoy them as well. He has not forgotten us. His perfectness is not kept on the other side of earth, no, it is also displayed here on this side of Heaven.
Therefore I am so incredibly honored to feature the extremely talented photographer and storyteller behind the pictures on my blog today. No one else than my favorite photographer, the gorgeous Mara Grace Cortez. What an honor! This woman sure has something on her heart and I hope you will be inspired by her, just as much as I am. A look at her instagram with almost 20.000 followers might indicate that I am not the only one who love her and her work. And without further ado let’s get into what Mara has to share.

One of the keys to thriving

We have all experienced it. The crippling feeling of fear ripping away every sense of bravery and courage. Maybe you are afraid of feeling lonely, so you desperately try to avoid this feeling by finding a partner. Or maybe you are afraid of being judged so you do not go to church. Or maybe you are afraid of failing again so you do not even bother to try. There are lots of fears.

Welcome to livinglifefullyalive

I’m so so so excited to be able to welcome you to my blog.

Why did I create this blog? I have been writing for many years and 1½ year ago my first book was published. Since then I have written lots of posts for various websites, but I have missed having my own platform to share these posts and thoughts with. So I finally realized that creating a blog might be a solution to this problem. And the mouth speaks, what the heart is full of (Matthew 12:34) and once you have said something you must do it. So here comes my blog 🙂

Who am I? My name is Ida Ploug Pahus. I live in Denmark, Europe. I find myself livinglifefullyalive when I’m writing about the things I’m really passionate about, when I’m taking pictures of God’s beautiful creations and when I’m putting my faith into action and not only words.

3 things you might not know about me:

  1. I speak four languages: Danish, English (or American as I prefer), German and Spanish. And a little bit of Korean.
  2. I have lived in the United States for some time with my family-in Colorado, Wisconsin and most recently in Texas.
  3. I can play on the transverse flute and have been taking flute lessons for more than 12 years now.

What makes you feel like you are livinglifefullyalive? Feel free to share it with the hashtag #livinglifefullyalive, so I can read it.

If you want to know more about the name behind the blog, you should go to the about section on the blog .

You are more than welcome to contact me, if you have anything you would like to ask me about or want to tell me.
