So many years in a row I have seen people posting about the cherry blossoms, or sakura as the cherry blossoms are also known as, at Bispebjerg Cemetery in Copenhagen but I have never had to chance to see them before this year. So for weeks I couldn’t help but count down to their peak season and last week it finally came. I went there to see them for the first time Friday afternoon last week but it was so crowded that I decided to come back the following Monday morning where I woke up a little before 6am to bike 22 kilometres (to Bispebjerg and home again) just to enjoy these magical flowers for myself. The cherry blossoms are so beautiful but sadly they only bloom for 2-3 weeks so you have to be quick in order to see them bloom. During their peak season around 150.000 people go to see the vibrant flowers at Bispebjerg Cemetery so the place can get really crowded during the day.Read More
It seems to me like there is one trend that doesn’t go out of style. And I’m ever so grateful for that. Guess what it is? Millennial pink. Therefore the NANAN Patisserie in Wroclaw, Poland was nothing short of a dream to visit during my trip around Europe. This small patisserie that only seats 14 people is all made of blush pink velvet and designed by Polish designers BUCK.STUDIO. Walls, chairs, everything. Almost the cakes, too. Their menu consists of macarons, cakes and their famous eclairs (which I can HIGHLY recommend). See the pictures below for a magical glimpse into this place…Read More
FINALLY I’m back with a new blog post!! Unfortunately I have been stuck in a creative rut for quite some time which led me to question the purpose of my blog and why I am running it.
Is it because I think I can put some beauty out in this world?
Can I even inspire people?
What makes people want to read my blog when there are millions of blogs to choose between?
Do I really have something to offer?
What makes a blog post worth posting and reading?
And so on my thoughts went. Right until the point I found some truth to hold on to. This truth came to me in the form of a poem.Read More
All pictures taken by my one and only photographer bestie Nethe Holm
Location: the very small island of Bågø (such a fun island with only around 20 houses, a surprisingly famous Russian nun and no shops at all)
Once upon a time there was a girl whose favorite color was pink. When the end of October came close, she went on a plane and traveled to London. In London she decided to visit every pink restaurant and shop that she could find. And to top it all she decided to wear some cloth from her favorite collection – the famous LC Lauren Conrad Runway Collection.
Today I want to welcome the amazing Brandie Rose Ribeiro to my blog. For those of you who do not know her, Brandie is 19 years old, a bridal intern for the famous designer brand Vera Wang, the designer behind singer and songwriter Moriah Peters’ dress in her new music video for ‘Brave’ and a Christian. She is super inspiring and I am so honored to be able to feature her on my blog today! Hope you will be inspired by this amazing woman of God just like I have been.
Sweater: Gina Tricot
Necklace: Pilgrim Jewellery
I just love this gorgeous statement necklace paired with the pink sweater. It gives the outfit such a femine touch, which suits me perfectly because I am a girly girl who loves almost everything pink and sparkly. The pink sweater paired with black jeans makes a perfect outfit for spring where pastel and light colors are always beautiful.
A huge thanks to my wonderful friend Nethe Holm for taking these beautiful photos. She is so talented and I highly encourage you to check her facebook profile out. And she might appreciate a couple friend requests 😛
Feel free to comment below about what you would like to see on the blog in the future 🙂
