Having just been to the lovely city of Amsterdam this week I wanted to show you a glimpse of what I did while I was in the city.
The day started with visiting the botanical garden Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam. The garden was founded in 1638, which means the garden is one of the oldest of its kind in the world. If I was asked to recommend only one place in Amsterdam this would be that one place. It is so pretty with all its plants-both indoor and outdoor, its butterfly exhibition, greenhouses and many other great things.

Later we visited Wildernis, a fancy flower shop, I had been introduced to on Instagram and really wanted to see myself. We went for quite a long walk to get to the place as it is not located in the center of Amsterdam where most of the other things we went to were located. It was great seing the shop for myself, but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the walk since it is so small and there is not much to see inside, at least not in my opinion 😉
Another cute place I can totally recommend visiting is the small café Pluk. With its beautiful interior and two stories it is such a dreamy and cozy little place.
And off course you cannot go to Amsterdam without seing the beautiful canals and tall houses the city is oh-so known for. Pictures cannot do this city justice.
How pretty does the autumn colors look? Couldn’t do anything, but capture those beautiful leaves. There is so much beauty to be found in every season. Maybe the fact that it doesn’t last forever is why I stop up to look at it and find it so beautiful?!
Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did making it!
