Beginning a new adventure

YWAM Yosemite

So many things to write about. A little more than 2 weeks have passed since I left my home in Denmark and moved to California.

DTS at YWAM Yosemite is amazing so far. For those of you who do not know what a DTS is DTS stands for Discipleship Training School and is  fulltime-program that lasts for 5-6 months and seeks to bring you into a more intimate relationship with God.

Never could I imagine how quickly 9 strangers from all over the world could become a family like we have.  It is crazy to think about how God has led each and every one of us to this place in amazing ways. So many different stories and yet it is the same God behind them all.  It blows my mind to think about!

God is doing so many things in my life. It’s crazy how deeper you get to know God when you set time aside to seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). The first week lectures were about hearing the voice of God, second week it was about the Holy Spirit and this week is about the character and nature of God. So far I’m loving it!!

This gift awaited me when I arrived 🙂

We all love hammocking in the forest!
My favorite spot on this planet – Yosemite National Park
Meet my new family. 9 students and 4 DTS leaders.

On one of the first weekends here 6 of us decided to go on a roadtrip…to San Fransisco. So much fun and totally worth the 3 hour drive. For a lot of us it was the first time being in San Fran.

So funny, when visiting the famous house from the Full House TV-series we ran into a groomsmen party and decided to take some pictures together 😉
One of the most visited attractions in California – the Golden Gate Bridge

Guess where my team will be going on outreach to do mission work? We are going to THAILAND for 3 months. I’m so excited to see what the Lord is going to do through our team!

Life with God is surely the best adventure I have ever ventured into. It keeps amazing me and taking me to greater heights.

Prayers for this season in my life and the team are greatly appreciated.

More updates are to come 🙂
