Let’s talk about it. The lace-up trend. One of the most popular trends of 2016 along with off-the-shoulder tops, ruffles, bell sleeves and chokers. I never was a big fan of the lace-up trend myself, finding the trend a bit too revealing with the plunge neck. Until I found this dress. This dress is so me with its warm and comfortable fabric, long sleeves perfect for winter and the lace-up detail is great paired with a black top underneath. It has quickly become an outfit staple of mine and one of my go-to outfits. And what better way to show this outfit than by styling it in one of the oldest parts of town along with one of the newest parts of town. Love a good excuse to explore my own city!
What was your favorite trend of 2016?
